Junya watanabe

• Born ing Fukushima, japan 1961.
• first had a apprenticeship at Comme des Garçons, as a pattern maker 
• 1987 he was chief designer for Tricot knitwear line, Then went on to design for the Comme des Garçon Homme line. 
• Started his own name as part of Comme's in 1992 called "Junya Watanbe Comme des Garçon"
• He is well known for designing innovative and distinctive clothing. 
• Interested in synthetic and technological advanced textiles and fabrics as well as traditional materials.
• He is considered a "techno couture designer". 

I'm not really sure how i feel about his work some of it i can see and think that it has some visual appeal  but none of it makes me think "oh my god wow that looks amazing". I can appreciate the work that must have gone into make these garments and you can see that it the images above, but I'm not overly impressed with it all.
