Fashion week arch - Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid

  • October 31st 1950.
  • An Iraqi British architect.
  • She was the first women to receive the pritzker architecture prize in 2004.
  • The stirling prize in 2010 and 2011.
  • Her buildings are known for their futuristic look.
  • "characterised by the powerful, curving forms of her  elongated structures"
  • "multiple perspective points and fragmented geometry to evoke the chaos of modern life.
Her buildings remind me of folded ribbons, and I really like the curves in the building they are just so different from other sharp square block buildings.
