- She was the first women to receive the pritzker architecture prize in 2004.
- The stirling prize in 2010 and 2011.
- Her buildings are known for their futuristic look.

Her buildings remind me of folded ribbons, and I really like the curves in the building they are just so different from other sharp square block buildings.
